It is highly recommended to insure your instrument(s). If you rent an instrument, we encourage you to purchase rental insurance through your rental company. If you own your instrument, we urge you to register your instrument with your homeowner’s insurance or find some other way to insure it.
In rehearsals and on tour, many opportunities arise where instruments can be damaged. Keep your instrument in a hard flight case whenever possible. During rehearsals or concerts, never hang your bow or instrument from music stands or leave your instrument on chairs or stools. If you are not playing your instrument, place it in its case or keep it in your hands where you can protect it from people or objects moving around you. You are responsible for keeping your instrument safe at all times.
If you leave your instrument behind on tour, you will be charged the shipping costs to retrieve it. Any instruments, cases, or music uniform items left out of place on tour or in the school building will be confiscated and may be retrieved for a $5 fee.
I/we agree to the music charges and the instrument policy as listed above:
