  • Instructions

    1. All fields marked with an * must be completed.  Do not enter commas into any text fields.

    2. If you previously attended a GSACRD school, complete all fields with an * and only update any information that may have changed since you last attended.

    3. Upon application submission, an email of this application will be sent to the recorded student email address.  The application must be printed, signed, and brought into the office.

    4. If this is the first time you have applied to attend St. Gabriel, a copy of the student's Birth Certificate or other legal document will need to be submitted along with your signed application.

    5. All outstanding course fees will need to be paid.

    6. To aid in placing students into appropriate courses, students are to bring a copy of their most recent report card, progress report, or standardized test results such as CTBS or C-Cat.

  • Alberta Education provides additional funding to school districts based on the number of self-identified Aboriginal students. This funding is used to develop programs and resources to enhance supports for education. The self-identification information will be used to support your child's success in learning.

  • Francophone Education Eligibility - Alberta Education Requirement. The exercise of Francophone eligibility rights refers to instruction in a Francophone school, NOT a French Immersion school. According to the School Act and Section 23 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, a student is eligible for instruction in a Francophone school if at least one parent is a Canadian citizen and one of the following three conditions exist: 1) Either parent's first language learned and still understood is French, or 2) Either parent has received their primary school instruction in Canada, in French, or 3) One or more of the parent's children has received or is receiving primary or secondary instruction in French in Canada.
