    • About us: Lash Out Plus has been operating since November 2013. We are located in the basement of a residential home in Orleans (Avalon). Our business is registered with Canada Revenue Agency & the province of Ontario. We specialize in eyelash extensions and also offer the following services: facials, manicure, pedicure, tinting, sugaring & waxing.

      A. Before the appointment

      Children: Due to liability reasons and the nature of our services, infants/children are not permitted on site. No exceptions.

      Brazilian:
      We kindly ask that you are properly cleaned prior to your visit. We will provide you with a wrapped feminine wipe that you may use prior to your service. Please note that you may be more sensitive during pregnancy, right before the start of your menstrual cycle as well as during ovulation. For a sugaring brazilian during your menstrual cycle, we simply ask that you wear a menstrual cup/disc (i.e. DivaCup/Nixit) or a fresh tampon. We have a bathroom inside the spa that you can use right before your service, should you need to freshen up.

      Preparation: You must properly exfoliate the areas that will be treated prior to your visit. We have exfoliating scrubs available for purchasing/ordering. Sun exposure should be avoided at least 24 hours prior to your visit. We will not offer hair removal on sunburnt skin. Refrain from using lotion/oil on the day of your service(s).

      Hair Length: Your body hair must grow for at least 2-3 weeks post-shaving. Should the hair be too short, we can't guarantee that our removal will be done fully. Brazilian: your hair must be at least 1/4 inch long. If it's quite long, please do a gentle trim. Careful not to trim too much!

      Parking: You may park in the driveway, should a spot be available. When a significant amount of snow has fallen, please park on the far right of the drive way (when facing the house), unless our contractor has cleared the driveway. There is street parking available nearby. We are not responsible for any loss/theft/vandalism or parking tickets that are issued during your visit.


      B. During the appointment

      Although we are properly trained, each body may react differently to our sugar paste and/or wax. You understand that some risks may be, but are not limited to redness & inflammation, ingrown hairs, skin infections, bruises, bumps & rashes, burnt skin, allergic reaction, etc.

      C. After the appointment

      You must avoid the following for 48 hours:

      - Tanning beds/Sun exposure;
      - Very hot baths
      - Swimming pools / Hot tubs / Sauna's
      - Sweating / Hot yoga / Intensive workout
      - Sexual activities (bikini/brazilians only)
      - Exfoliating too soon (wait at least 48 hours)

      We recommend booking your next appointment before leaving our spa. Brazilian: Visiting a different salon or shaving in between appointments means you are no longer under our maintenance loyalty pricing and will be charged initial pricing.

      D. Scheduling

      We use Square Appointments as our online booking system. We require a valid credit card to secure any service(s). We will only charge the credit card on file if the appointment(s) is/are missed or cancelled within twenty-four (24). If you do not have a credit card, you may contact us to book with an Interac etransfer or come in person with a payment. We will only book your appointment(s) when your payment is received.

      Once you've booked your appointment(s), a confirmation email is sent immediately, as well as a reminder text four (4) days prior, an email forty-eight (48) hours prior and a final reminder one (1) hour prior to your appointment. You may cancel your appointment(s) up to forty-eight (48) hours prior to start time online or up to twenty-four (24) hours prior by contacting us directly. Should there be an opening for a service, it remains available for booking up to eight (8) hours prior to start time. 

      If you need to modify/add to your appointment, you must notify us prior to your appointment start time. Should you want to remove services once your appointment has begun, the full fee applies. To add a service last minute, we may not be able to accomodate your request, however, advance notice gives us more flexibility to work something out.

      E. Cancellations/No-Show Fee

      When booking with us, we reserve the necessary time and setup our spa to accomodate your visit. When an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice, a 50% fee for all booked services is charged. 

      If for any reason a credit card declines, an electronic invoice is sent to your email address on file and must be paid within twenty-four (24) hours. Failure to provide payment will result in your account being sent to our collections agency: Dixon Commercial Investigators.

      F. Arriving late

      You must notify us as soon as possible if you will be arriving later than scheduled. Keep in mind that no extra time will be allocated to your appointment and you are still charged for the full amount. If you do not contact us within ten (10) minutes of your start time, your appointment is considered a no-show and the 50% fee is charged and processed.

      G. Guarantee

      We guarantee that your health and well-being are very important to us. We will never force you to complete a waxing/sugaring service should you wish to stop or feel too much discomfort. Depending on your skin type/condition, we reserve the right to stop your service at any time.

      H. Payment

      The following methods of payment are accepted and due before leaving our spa: cash, Debit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay. We do not accept cheques. 

      I. Satisfaction

      Word of mouth is very powerful for our business. If you are satisfied with our service(s), we would gladly appreciate a Facebook review! We also love seeing new faces and we love it even more when you've sent them our way!

      If for any reason you are not satisfied with our service(s), we ask that you firstly contact us directly. We are human and we will not bite... promise!
