WE ARE NOW LOOKING FORWARD TO AN EXCITING FALL/WINTER SEASON FEATURING THE ORIGINAL SIX NHL TEAMS REPRESENTED BY SIX  G.T.A CITIES.WE ARE  NOW THRILLED TO ADD IN OUR NEW MONTREAL MAROONS AND TORONTO ST.PATS TEAMS TO OUR LINEUP..

       WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING  REGISTRATIONS FOR OUR FALL/WINTER( 2025/2026)   ORIGINAL SIX HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM( O.S.H.D.P)SEASON STARTS  WEEKEND OF OCT 4,( TRAINING ) OCT 5( GAMES )..subject to change

      ***PLEASE NOTE ...WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING LEARN TO SKATE PLAYERS AT THIS TIME .AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF ORGANIZED HOCKEY OR LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY WOULD BE IMPOIRTNAT FOR THE PLAYERS TO GET A FULL EXPERIENCE FROM OUR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.

    REGISTRATION  INCLUDES: 

    • 27 weeks of FULL ICE HOCKEY GAMES AT NATIONAL TRAINING RINKS Newmarket( 1155 STELLAR DR. ) 
    • featuring 6 to 8 teams ( 2 tiered divisions) with the Original Six NHL team logos.
    • teams representing 6 G.T.A cities..East Gwillimbury Leafs ,Aurora Canadiens, Georgina Black Hawks,Newmarket Rangers ,Richmondhill Redwings, Bradford Bruins.** new**..TORONTO ST.PATS AND MONTREAL MAROONS ********
    • featuring  4 on 4 play to allow for rapid player skill development as well as development of positional play and hockey rules ( ie offsides) 
    • Smaller ice surface to allow for quick feet,quick pass,quick shot and tons of  puck touches to enhance skill deveopment at a rapid rate 
    • Season runs from october to april ....Saturday will be our professional practice  day and Sunday will be our game  day for all 8 teams.
    • GAME TIMES ..10AM,11am,12pm,( may vary depending on how many teams are formed ) 
    • ADDITIONAL MID WEEK HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING ..WEDNESDAY..5PM TO 7PM( OPTIONAL .additional costs .SEE BELOW OUR  3 DAY HOCKEY PACKAGE 
    • 27 regular season games/ scrimmages....we utilize our instructors as our refs ...featuring  in motion player corections 
    • 27practice/development sessions lead by professional instructors /trainers ..former and current junior A  players with a correction approach to our training 
    • Game focus...each week we will introduce a new focus item to  which players will work on in their training  and will attempt to implement in their games .
    • players will also have additional game  opportunities throughout the season as back up players to other teams when players are absent.we do provide options  for a player to play on more then one team ( if we need to fill in a team ..additional costs ) 
    • CONFLICTS WITH TOWN LEAGUE SCHEDULE? NO PROBLEM., we can work with your schedule and allow your player to play on several teams .
    • Many players will shift to different teams throughout the season in an attempt to match players for better competion and development 
    • goaltending development through qualified coaches/trainers
    • 44 minute games. Buzzer changes to ensure that players receive  22 min of game time per game . 
    • first 3 weeks will be used to balance out the teams
    • balanced lines A vs A, B vs B for competative play( 2 lines only ) 
    • Original six team numbered  jerseys and matching socks
    • individual player recognition awards and team awards/logo medals.prizes,pucks
    • no contact league/code of conduct enforced
    • certified /paid referees/instructors 
    • junior A and certified coaches 
    • register up to 8 players per roster plus a goalie

    • please note: this is not a learn to skate program.players must have at least one year of hockey experience ( opti,house league,i.p program etc ) we will offer   assessments through our weekly training sessions if required to make sure your player is ready for this program

    • EVALUATION DATE  FOR TEAM BALANCING ...we have been evaluating new players  over the last few weeks as they have participated in our wednesday and saturday  training sessions and our saturday fun games . ultimately we will be evaluating  all players during first 3 weeks of our fall/winter program so we can balance our teams .please email us if you would like us to get a look at your player before season starts .we will utilize our current wed. or sat. training days .
    • PLEASE NOTE ...OUR SEASON  WILL START WKND OF  OCTOBER 4/5.
    • PLEASE NOTE . WEDNESDAY TRAINING WILL START OCTOBER 1.
    • PLEASE NOTE ..WE ARE NO OBLIGATED TO PROVIDE MAKE UP GAMES OR TRAINING FOR YOUR PLAYER IF  DAYS ARE MISSED DUE TO CONFLICTS IN YOUR SCHEDULES( other plans ,vacations etc )   .ONLY EXCEPTION IS FOR INJURIES ( accompanied by a doctors note ) we are howver very accomodating to switch game times ,training days etc 
    • PLEASE NOTE .WE CONTINUE TO HAVE MANY PLAYERS WHO REGISTER TO PLAY IN OUR PROFSSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AND JOIN THE  TOWN LEAGUE AS WELL.  PLEASE DONT LET ANYONE INTIMIDATE YOU AND DISCOURAGE YOU FROM JOINING OUR PROGRAM . WE ARE NOT A LEAGUE ..WE ARE A PROFESSIONAL HOCKEY SCHOOL DEVELOPING PLAYERS WHICH ULTIMATELY  MAKE OUR TOWN LEAGUE  TEAMS STRONGER..WE CONTINUE TO PRODUCE MANY REP PLAYERS WITH OUR PROFEESSIONAL TRAINING AND SCRIMMAGES WHICH INVOLVE TEACHING  POSITIONAL PLAY AND CORRECTING PLAYERS TO GET BETTER,NEW PLAYERS ARE INTRODUCED WEEKLY TO ALLOW PLAYERS TO BE CHALLENGED FURTHER . 
    • FOR THOSE INVOLVED IN HALF ICE HOCKEY PROGRAMS ,WE HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU BALANCE THIS WITH THE FULL ICE  PROGRAM THAT WE OFFER AS IT WILL PROVIDE YOUR PLAYER WITH THE TOOLS TO BE PREPARED FOR BIG ICE POSTIONAL PLAY AND HOCKEY RULES.

PLEASE RESPECT THAT YOU HAVE SIGNED FOR YOUR PLAYER REGISTRATION FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON .CANCELLATIONS WILL ONLY APPLY FOR PLAYERS WHO HAVE SUFFERED SEASON ENDING INJURIES.

    Please note ... Our refs are also our instructors and  will be on the ice to guide players to proper on ice conduct as well as to reinforce the offside rules and positional play ( correction component ) .This year we will be reinforcing ...no body checking and no slashing,cross checking of any other aspects which entail an  intent to injure another player rule by suspending a player for the rest of the game in which the infraction occured. Multiple game suspenesion is also possible depending on severity of the  infraction. Our main objective here is to provide all players a safe environment to play in , where they will play with confidence and not intimidation . Our goal is to produce ZERO CONCUSSIONS AND INJURIES during our practices and games.

    The player/participant stated above and his/her parents/guardians agree that  Original six Hockey 1942 Spring Hockey shall not be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage whatsoever occurring to the participant while he/she is in attendance at any Original six Hockey 1942 Hockey events.

    I, the undersigned, hereby grant permission to the Original six Hockey 1942 Hockey events and its representatives to photograph and video me and/or my child (The Player), and otherwise capture my/their image, understanding that said images may be used royalty free in any current and future forms of media including online and social.

    I/we acknowledge reading this declaration and understand the conditions contained herein and agree to abide by all terms.

    REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER A WRITTEN REQUEST ( OR EMAIL REQUEST) IS RECEIVED. REFUNDS AND / OR CREDITS WILL AlSO BE ISSUED IF OUR FALL/WINTER SEASON IS CANCELLED DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES. 
    BY ORIGINAL SIX HOCKEY 1942 AND IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING:

    1. FULL REFUND LESS $ 125  ADMINISTRATION FEE AND COST OF JERSEY/SOCKS( $60 )  PRIOR TO START OF SEASON
    2. FROM THE START OF THE SEASON TO DATE OF CANCELLATION( UNDER 4 WEEKS OF PLAY ) , A PRO RATED CREDIT FROM THE DATE OF REQUEST LESS THE $ 125 ADMINISTRATION FEE AND COST OF JERSEY/SOCKS( $60 ) 
    3. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ISSUED AFTER 4 WEEKENDS INTO THE SEASON HAVE ELAPSED.
    4. REFUNDS/CREDITS  WILL NOT BE GRANTED FOR GAMES/PRACTICES LOST   DUE TO SUSPENSION OR REMOVAL FROM PLAY BY THE O.S.H.D.P OR THE ARENA IN WHICH GAME IS HELD OR ANY FORM OF DISCIPLINE NOT STATED HEREIN.
    5. CREDITS WILL ALSO NOT BE PROVIDED FOR THOSE TAKING TIME OFF FOR VACATIONS . PLAYER INJURY /ILLNESS IS AN EXCEPTION ACCOMPANIED BY A DOCTORS NOTE .
    6. PLEASE ALLOW 2 TO 3 WEEKS FOR REFUNDS TO BE PROCESSED.

    PAYMENT POLICY AND PAYMENT DUE DATES 

    FIRST MONTH  PAYMENT OF ALL REQUESTED FEES IS REQUIRED BY JUNE 15 OR WHEN YOU HAVE REGISTERED YOUR PLAYER ( if after june 15 )    UNPAID FEES ARE SUBJECT TO REFUSAL OF REGISTRATION IN THE CURRENT SEASON.

    1. 2 day option...3 installments of $782 ( june 15,oct 15,dec 15 )

    2. 3 day option ...4 installments of $900 ( june 15,oct 15,dec 15,feb 15)
