Commitment: With my initials below, I agree that the information I provide is accurate and true. I am pledging to participate in 100+ Women Who Care – Powell River Chapter, and I am making a personal commitment to contribute the following to local registered non-profits/charities serving the Powell River region:
- Adult Members: $150 each calendar year ($50 each meeting)
- Junior Members: $60 each calendar year ($20 each meeting)
I agree to donate three times a year to the registered non-profit/charity organization selected by the group’s majority vote. If I cannot attend a meeting, I will submit my payment to 100+ WWC via e-transfer or cheque. I also acknowledge that photographs and videos taken at events and meetings may include my image and be used in promotional materials for 100+ Women Who Care – Powell River Chapter.

I understand that my personal contact information is strictly confidential and will not be shared or distributed to an outside third party without my expressed consent.

** Before voting takes place, all selected nominees will need to present to the members on what they do for our community, how long they have been in existence, and what they plan to do with the funds if they are the recipient organization.
Please note: If the recipient organization is a registered charity, you can request a tax receipt that can be used to claim charitable tax credit. However, many of the nominated organizations have non-profit status which means that although they can issue you a receipt for your donation, you will not be able to use it to claim charitable tax credit.
