Lax U'u'la seeks supporters who can offer hands-on support at the occupation site at Lelu Island. The Gitwilgyoots ask that you stay for at least 10 days. They welcome volunteers year-round. Please fill out the form below. We recognize that it seems pretty impersonal and bureaucratic to be filling out online forms for something like this, but it really helps us streamline the coordination of volunteers. Volunteers have had great success getting sponsors through their social and family networks, with pancake breakfasts, kitchen parties, yard sales, raffles and other informal benefits.

This is our Code of Conduct: Volunteers, Indigenous people, our hosts, and members of the public must be treated honestly and with respect at all times by participants. This movement is led by Indigenous people, and the camp is a safe environment for people of all races, genders, orientations, national origins, classes, and abilities. Do not bring alcohol, drugs or weapons. Nudity is not permitted at the camp.*
