Note to Vendors:
There will be 2 Night Markets during the summer of 2019. June 12th & Sept 12th.
As an incubator for small business it is important to provide an opportunity to as many vendors as possible to come out to a market. Therefor, we must rotate vendors and can not guarantee you will have a spot at every market. Please specify if any of these dates don't work for you in the comment section.
*You will be notified by email if you have been selected as a vendor
* Market Fee is Non-refundable
* Please make arrangement to pay your vending fee prior to the event to reserve your table. We can accept e-transfer to info@gonorthhalifax.com or cash at our office - 2099 Gottingen St. Mon-Fri: 10am - 4pm.
There will not be power supplied to vendors at these events but there will be plenty of lighting to brighten up your table and of course you are welcome to bring battery powered lights or lanterns :) Please bring a chair and table cover if you would like one.
Food Vendors: A Temporary Event Permit is required for the sale of foods at temporary events, fairs and festivals (as defined in the Nova Scotia Food Safety Regulations). If you are a vendor at the farmers market you will still need to apply for a temporary event permit. Food vendors are also required to show proof of Liability insurance and adhere to the NS Food Safety Regulations for hand washing. Please have your permit displayed at your table.
Schedule B Food Products, jams & jellies, preserves, fruits & veggies and baked goods do not require a permit. If you are unsure what catagory you fall under and have further questions please contact Jillian Levatte at Food Health & Safety Jillian.Levatte@novascotia.ca
