PLEASE NOTE
- Incomplete applications will be automatically rejected.
- The Tontine Awards will not support requests for applicants to organize a conference. We will not support requests for applicants to use the Award to cover registration fees for an individual to attend a conference, a course, a workshop or any related activity.
- We will not give out the Tontine Award retroactively (ex. for a project that is already finished).
- This microgrant will be given out twice a year. The deadlines will be posted on the website.
- Please take into account the fact that it will take us approximately 6 to 8 weeks to process grant applications.
- We ask applicants to consider the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic when proposing their plans for community engagement and to follow public health guidelines.
- We accept project applications from teams that include various genders, however, to be eligible for the award the majority of the applicants must identify as women.
- To be accessible we are now accepting video submissions. Please upload your video to youtube and then send us the link. We would ask that all video submissions be no longer than 5 minutes.
- Please let us know if the use of Club Saw on the evening of Feb. 24th will be beneficial to your project (not mandatory).
